12 Jan New Kitchen Trends
Welcome to 2018. So the Christmas Decorations are back in the loft and the tree is boxed away for another 11 months. Who else hates the month of January? Is it just me or does everything in the home now look tired and dreary?
January is a popular time for people to be thinking about renovating and the options these days are endless.
While 2017 saw the Scandinavian style of light, bright and uncluttered living go BIG we also began to see the contrasting Boho style of dark colours, bold patterns and a mixture of metals emerge, and did anyone else notice that Copper seems to be the new chrome?
I myself loved swiping through Pinterest and Instagram looking for inspiration for my own home and loved how many had combined the 2 looks and pulled it off. Some opted for the new trend of Moroccan inspired tiles to add a pop of colour, others chose to keep it simple with up stands and bare walls.
Our own customers, we noticed were an example of the amount of different style options out there…
Dark doors in graphite grey combined with copper accents were huge last year.
This customer chose to go bold with a Fired Earth tiled splash back in one area to add interest.
While this customer gave her kitchen the “wow” factor with a Slick of raspberry paint.
2017 was an interesting year and we look forward to seeing the variations in our future clients’ tastes in 2018.
Here are just some of the new kitchen choices on offer from us at Wisteria this year, as you will see colour is making a comeback …
